Welcome!
The House of Long-Term Care™ was founded by Rick Zwetsch in 2006 and is a sister company to The Wealth Conservation Project™.
We all know someone who's experienced long-term care or is currently a care giver to someone needing care. Maybe it's a parent or relative. Maybe it's a close personal friend. Maybe it's a neighbor or business colleague. Do you know anyone?
It doesn't matter who it is... it's a lot of work and isn't always fun to think about. Right? I mean who wants to think about the day when you or someone you love can't get in and out of the bathtub or get dressed or move from a bed or chair? Or who can possibly imagine what it'll be like to be cognitively impaired and not be able to remember what day it is or what your spouse's name is? One thing we know for certain is lack of planning for long-term care can stress people emotionally and financially faster than anything out there.
Our mission at the House of Long-Term Care™ is to help people clearly understand, think about... then effectively design and implement a plan for all aspects of long-term care. To take as much time as you need and to make absolutely certain the plan is right for you and -- anyone that's important to you.
We have organized pertinent information and interactive tools here at our Web site that will help you understand not only what Long-Term Care is all about but also the potential financial ramifications of a Long-Term Care need.
Please take your time and explore this information at your leisure. If you have questions about anything at all, please feel free to contact us. If you've been putting this off for some time and are feeling now is the time to begin a plan - please don't wait. I've met with two couples over the past several months that have been thinking about getting long-term care insurance for the past 7 or 8 years. Now that it's finally time, their health will prevent them from getting it. And these aren't isolated cases - this happens every day.
I can tell you one thing... the peace of mind you'll feel when you have a plan in place is hard to describe. But I know one thing for sure... it feels really, really good!
